What makes you fat?

Good morning!

We hope the week has started off great for you and it’s only going to get better!  Why?  Because after reading the graphic below you will have a better understanding of what needs to go into your cart and what needs to stay out!

Many of you and have asked Daniela and myself “how can I lose weight?”  We provide a brief answer that includes decreasing certain elements in your diet (carbs) and then you ask “why are you so down on carbs?”  The graphic below will explain why carbs ultimately are killers.

This of course is without getting into the exceptions of genetic predisposition, uber athletes, or veganism.   Believe us when we tell you that although your Aunt Harriet may have been “fat” it doesn’t mean it’s your destiny.  Start empowering yourself that change is possible.  It would be like a smoker saying “it’s impossible to quit”.  It is if you think it is.  If you think you will never lose weight or that last ten pounds you are right.  If you want to lose weight, understanding the graphic and making the changes that are suggested there and with OH you will find the success you are looking for!

We love you and your children.  Part of “doing” is the understanding.  We will keep putting out the information and resources that allow you understand and ultimately “do”.  You don’t have to change everything in your life overnight but start by making some simple changes… like leaving those bags of processed chips and cookies out of your cart. 🙂
